A digital participation film project, moving together while apart.
An exploration of the human connections that lie at the heart of dance - and what remains in the absence of human touch. This project was created coming out of lockdown in 2021. It brought together dancers processing the loses that COVID-19 brought to our lives, unable to gather.
Individual vignettes were devised in collaboration with Artistic Director Anna Symes and the Camera man Oliver Goodrich working with creative elements contributed by each participant. The project culminated in a celebratory premiere event at The Nayland Rock Hotel in Margate with live music and exquisite cake by celebrated chef, Antonella Orsino. The event traversed the concerns of Dec 2021 and created very special joy as a result.
